Tell your classmates about your kids, your spouse, your career
We would love to hear about volunteer work, interesting careers and hobbies, as well as seeing great pictures of your family, your pets, etc.  Since we will NOT have a memory book, our Website is the best place to post your thoughts.  Thanks!!  Hope to hear from everyone....

HI EVERYONE!  Can't wait to see eveyone in May.  I missed the 30th Reunion for some reason.  I have been married for 27 years to Joanie and we have two girls, the oldest is a school teacher (fancy that) and the youngest is getting her degree in Radiology.  I retired from the US Government in 2003 (active service) and now work for them during disasters/emegencies.  My wife, Joanie is a travel consultant and she workes from home.  We have been living in Atlanta for the last 23 years.  I can't believe that it's been 40 years....40 years.  I can tell where the time has gone everytime I look in the mirror.  Thanks to John and all the committee members for organizing this reunion.  I am already looking forward to the 50th.

See ya soon, Bill

Hey everybody!  I was also glad to see this website.  It's fun to read everyone's comments.  I was in Columbia several months ago and was feeling nostalgic so I decided to ride down Falcon drive and see the old school.  IT WASN"T THERE!  WHAT DID THEY DO TO MY SCHOOL!!!!!  THEY BUILT THE TAJ MAHAL ON IT!  The school district must have plenty of money to spend.  I guess the kids going to that school are getting a much better education than we got back in 1970 when it was just concrete block.  NOT!  Ok, I got that off my chest but I'm still upset.  They say you can never go back home and I guess that's true.  Everything changes, including all of us, but it will sure be a lot of fun to see those who can make it to the reunion.  By the way, I went by Dreher and it's also gone!  Hey Gunter, I don't have my drumset anymore but would like to hear you play the sax.  Bring it!  Remember the Swinging Gents?  Gotta go for now.

Later
Billy

Just got through looking at the CD of photos and boy does it bring back lots of memories.  Hats off to the group that made it, planned the party, created this neat website, and most of all those who came last night.  It was awesome catching up with everyone.  We are such a great class.  Helen and I look forward to the next one but let's not wait 10 more years.

Hey Cliff!
I think the last time we saw each other was back in the 80s???  Anyway, I am sorry I missed the reunion.  I forgot about it!  Dumb, huh?  I hope you are well man.  I will never forget all those many years ago when you and I and Jimmy Copeland and Rodney Lee and Jamie Skeen(when his mother would let him) hung out.  Do you remember?...How's that for the wayback machine?!  Love to hear from you man.

First - to the Committee - AWESOME job!! Thank you SO much! Next - let's do this again in FIVE years and I'll even volunteer to help with it. This was my first and I had a ball! As I've said on FB, getting older does have its advantages - no more worrying about getting some new Weejuns or having a date for the Prom! LOL!

Great job on the reunion!  I had a blast!  I know I annoyed a lot of people with my video camera but HEY, get over it!  I have a 45 minute video which includes the dinner and reunion.  Debbie Bobo and the cheerleaders singing the fight song is priceless!  Charlie Pinkerton attempts to sing the Alma Mater!  Nancy Aroneck is going to try to put it on the web for everyone to see.  I can make copies if anyone wants one.  Contact me at odgdesigns@islc.net  I also have a lot of still pictures I can email you as a slide show.  The first three letters of my email are odg.  It's hard to see the g with the line under it.

I would love to do it again in 5 years or less and would help in any way I can.

Sentimental,
Billy O'Neal

I am glad to see the good comments. If it weren't for all the help it would not have been the success that it was. I was really pleased with the turnout for everything. I am sorry for not getting this posted sooner but had to hit the road early Monday am for some urgent business and this is the first break I have had since then. Take care my friends and hope to see you soon.
